If you are experiencing problems with slow downloads please read the following information.

Make sure to only download 1 file at a time to improve download speeds and time.

Only use the browser built-in download managers and no third party applications as these will cause problems and might block your account.

Should you have broken or partially downloaded files, delete them from your computer and start a new download.

Clear Your Browser's Cache

It also helps to clear your browser's cache at this time. For information on how to do so, take a look at this site-
http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache

If you experience unusually slow download speeds, try again at a later time as some Internet Service Providers might be using traffic shaping for high volume accounts.

Complete a Traceroute

In case the speeds are not improving we ask you to run a trace route and send us the results.

Q: What is a trace route?

A: A "trace route" is a function which traces the path from one network to another. It allows us to diagnose the source of many problems. To get proper results, we need to ask you to run this from the computer you are having problems with only and at the time when you cannot connect to the site at all or are experiencing download issues.

Traceroute - Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7
Go to Start > Run and type cmd then press the Enter key.

The "command prompt" window will now open and show a line similar to this:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname>

Now simply type tracert hostname. The hostname being the site/server you want to access.

Example: C:\Documents and Settings\yourname> tracert www.domain.com (replace www.domain.com with the URL of the website you are trying to connect to)

Press the enter key. This test will take about a minute.
Once it finishes a line will show "Trace complete".

Now right click on the command prompt window's top frame and go to edit > select all
This will highlight all the trace information that we need.
Again right click on the command prompt window's top frame and go to edit > copy

Now simply paste the information in a ticket to us.

Traceroute - Mac OS X or newer
From your hard drive, open the Applications folder, and click to open the Utilities folder.
Double click on Terminal.

Now type tracert hostname. The hostname being the site/server you want to access.

Example: C:\Documents and Settings\yourname> tracert www.domain.com (replace www.domain.com with the name of the website you are trying to connect to)

Copy and paste the information in a ticket to us.
